Wu Baojun Holds Talks with Zhang Pingzong, Director of China Mobile's Computing Power Office and Party Secretary and Chairman of the Cloud Capability Center

On August 17, Wu Baojun, Party Secretary and Chairman of China Hualu Group, held talks with Zhang Pingzong, Director of China Mobile's Computing Power Office and Party Secretary and Chairman of the Cloud Capability Center, to conduct in-depth discussions on deepening future cooperation. Huang Qiang, Deputy Party Secretary, Director, and General Manager of China Hualu Group, also attended the meeting.

Zhang Pingzong outlined China Mobile's overall strategic layout and implementation approach in the computing power network sector, and expressed recognition of China Hualu Group's technological and product capabilities in optical storage. He noted that as one of China Mobile's three core businesses, computing power services serve as a key growth driver for the company's high-quality development. China Mobile remains committed to strengthening the China Mobile Cloud brand, expanding the scale of its intelligent computing business, and accelerating the comprehensive upgrading of its computing power network. By building an ecosystem around computing power, models, and applications, the company has developed full-stack computing power service capabilities that feature integrated computing and networking, cloud-AI convergence, agility and efficiency, as well as security and trustworthiness. He expressed hope that both parties will fully leverage their complementary strengths, utilize national computing power hub nodes, and jointly create exemplary models of storage-computing coordination for industry-specific scenarios, thereby forming replicable and scalable implementation patterns.

Wu Baojun stated that China Hualu Group has always adhered to innovation-led development. Drawing on its long-term accumulation in core optical storage technologies, the Group has built a uniquely advantageous storage infrastructure, capable of providing storage support to the Cloud Capability Center in areas such as storage-computing coordination and digital-intelligence integration. He noted that China Mobile is an industry leader in computing power services, boasting strong brand influence and broad development prospects. He expressed hope that, building on previous cooperation, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to jointly promote the deep integration of technological and industrial innovation, fulfill the missions of central state-owned enterprises, achieve mutual strategic support, industrial complementarity, and efficient information exchange, and play a greater role in the development of the national integrated computing power network.

Relevant executives from both sides also attended the meeting.
